So have I ever mentioned that I have the best girlfriend ever?  I don't mean to boast, but Damn!  she is so great to me.  I couldn't ever ask anyone to treat me the way she does.  I guess I'm just tryin to say...Thank you Maureen Therese Brogan, for making me happier than I ever thought I could be, even when I should be miserable!!  I love you!!

- Let's Stay Together

Ok, so in case anybody wonders....

I had another flare up up of the crohn's disease.  I went into the hospital one week before thanksgiving and found out my small intestine had ruptured, and the contents were leaking into my abdominal cavity.  This leads to paratinitis(sp), but anyways, paratinitis kills you.  So I had to to have corrective surgery.  The doctor cut two holes in my abdomen and cut out part of my small and large bowels, then connected the two ends.  I feel much better now,  Obviously it hurts where the actual surgery happened, but it will get better, and has every day.  I was in the hospital for just more than a week, and now mo is here taking care of me.  I can't play my horn for another couple weeks-ish.  So that sucks.  With any luck the surgery will put the crohn's in remission(possibly forever).  My stepmom knows a woman you had this surgery and hasnt dealt with the sympotms of crohn's for 20+ years.  Hopefully im as lucky.  There is no cure for crohn's, and yes, I will always have it forever, but for now it should leave me alone, because the surgeon cut out the only part that had any problems before.  Wish me luck!

- Every Little Thing She Does is Magic

man, it is kind of official that I am not gonna go to anymore parties.  Last night I went to a small party with some good friends of mine, and we were all drinkin a little, but really nobody was that drunk.  Except Matt, and nobody realized how drunk he was until he was passed out.  And he was ok then, but then he started puking after like an hour or two of being passed out.  As we were cleaning it up, my friend sends him Matt out to the balcony of the apartment with another so he can get some fresh air and we can clean up.  Well while we were all cleaning, the kid who was on the balcony left, and Me and another guy had taken some trash to the dumpster, and my other friend went to the bathroom.  He then met us downstairs asking where Matt was.  That's when we ran to the balcony and realized he fell off a second story balcony.  Luckily enough(I guess) he fell like out like 4 feet away from the edge and over a fence, or else he would've landed on concrete, but we think he must've hit the fence on the way down, cause that seems to be the only way he could've gone as far away from the building as he did.  He is ok now, he went to the hospital and although he is pretty beat up and suffered blunt chest trauma and got some stitches behind his ear, he is ok.  He is home now, I picked him up from the hospital this morning, but it is kind of a wake up call.  It's nuts how nobody had ANY clue he drank so much.  We thought he had about the same amount as us.

Part of me feels really bad about everything, like we should've been more careful of him, but the other part of me thinks he is twenty and should know better.  Either way it sucks that it happened and I'm so glad he is ok.  Another reminder of how fragile life is, he is so lucky to not only be alive but to not be a parapalegic.  Be careful everybody.  Have your fun but do it in moderation.

I love you all, and I hope you all had a better weekend.

P.S.  Mo gets here tuesday.  Thank goodness, I'm going insane without her.
I love you baby.
